Things to Do

When living in Huntington and its surrounding areas, private beaches are a great way to spend the day. There are many inlets that have small beaches for you to enjoy some peace, and there are larger beaches if you’re looking to meet up with friends or join your community for some fun. Boating is a huge activity in Huntington, so much so that there’s multiple Marina’s that dot the shoreline. Whether you enjoy sailing, like relaxing on your yacht, or love the thrill of tubing behind a wake boat, you rest assured you’ll have somewhere to park your vessel.

For something a little further inland, country clubs take up a large portion of leisurely activity on Long Island’s North Shore. As such, the Huntington Country Club is a great place to test out your swing and grab a drink or two after you finish a round. There’s also the Huntington Crescent Club, a beautiful piece of land that has vibrant lawns, a remarkable clubhouse, and friendly staff.  The Paramount is an eccentric live music venue where both famous singers and local talents put on a show to remember. It’s a great place to let loose and have fun. In the middle of the Huntington area is Heckscher Park, which is where the Huntington Fall Festival is held every year - the perfect event to enjoy some family fun!
